How to fold a paper snowflake pattern from Paper Snowflake Art
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to fold and cut my paper snowflake patterns that are available in my shop!
Cutting the template:
You will cut out all the dark sections of the paper snowflake pattern, and leave the white sections.
I always start by cutting out parts that need a hole punch first, because it’s easier to punch through 12 layers of paper when you have a sturdy base.
After that, work your way through cutting the smaller details, and finish by cutting around the outside of the snowflake. VOILA! Not so bad, right?
Some snipping tips:
Give yourself more room than you think you’ll need. Delicate snowflakes are beautiful, but extremely challenging to cut!
Make sure you have sharp scissors! Here are some of the supplies I like the best.
Hold your snowflake VERY tight when you cut curves so the paper doesn’t slide around
